Jonathan Mackye Gruber
Native New Yorker, Jonathan graduated from USC Film School in Los Angeles where he won awards for directing and cinematography. A passionate underwater cinematographer, he worked for the Cousteau society before directing his first feature film, Blunt. The controversial indie film won accolades including Best Comedy from the New York and New Orleans Film Festivals.
Gruber and his partner Eric Bress penned the box office #1 hit thriller Final Destination 2 for New Line Cinema. Shortly afterwards they wrote and directed the critically acclaimed box office number one film The Butterfly Effect. Together they also created ABC Family’s hit TV show Kyle XY, a number one show in Europe. Gruber-Bress are presently developing the Butterfly Effect reboot!
Jonathan has over 25+ years experience working in the entertainment industry as a director, writer, rewriter and producer, bringing his skills and experience to the UK, and North Wales specifically where he spent his childhood summers.

Georgia Gwynne Gruber
Georgia Gwynne Gruber is an award winning Welsh writer / producer who has written and produced for Larry King; produced three seasons of Earthwalkers on the Travel Channel; directed docu-reality for TV3 in Ireland; filmed spiritual teachers around the world, including His Holiness the Dalai Lama; ghost written for celebrities; worked as a fundraiser for Greenpeace, Amnesty and Survival International; as well as touring the UK and US as a rapper, performing at SXSW and Glastonbury, before moving to Los Angeles where she wrote screenplays, pilots, series bibles and pitch decks for studios and production companies; wrote/produced award winning short The Courier and co-wrote Emmy winner The Weight Of Success. Georgia graduated Oxford University with a BA/MA in Law.
